Questions about billing
How does billing work?
Plans are billed monthly in Naira via Paystack or Flutterwave on your normal card. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel any time from the dashboard, and changes are prorated.
What happens if I go over my plan's quota?
You pay your plan's overage rate per 1,000 extra emails, shown in the table above. We never throttle silently, and we alert you at 80% and 100% of quota so there are no surprises.
Do you really absorb exchange-rate changes?
Yes. Every price is fixed in Naira. When the dollar moves, that is our cost, not yours, so the price you see today is the price next quarter.
Is the free tier really free?
The Free tier is permanent: 3,000 emails a month, no card required. Paid plans start at ₦2,000 a month, and pay-as-you-go has no monthly commitment.
Does marketing email cost extra?
No. Campaigns, lists, segments, signup forms, and automation are included on every plan, including Free. What your plan sets is how many brands and marketing subscribers you can hold, and campaign sends draw from the same monthly email quota as your transactional mail. There is no second subscription and no second bill.
How do campaign sends count against my quota?
One email to one subscriber is one email, exactly as it is on the API. A 5,000-recipient campaign uses 5,000 of your monthly quota, and past quota it bills at your plan overage rate like any other send. Marketing goes out on a separate sending reputation, so a campaign that collects complaints cannot damage the deliverability of your receipts and passcodes.
What happens if I outgrow my subscriber limit?
Adding a subscriber past your plan limit is refused with a clear message rather than billed silently, and everyone already on your lists keeps receiving mail. Upgrading raises the limit immediately. Scale has no subscriber or brand limit at all.
